Allen & Heath SQ7+ digital mixer

The Allen & Heath SQ7+ is the largest mixer in the SQ+ range, featuring an expanded 33-fader control surface designed for live sound engineers who need extensive hands-on control for larger productions and complex mixing environments. Combining Allen & Heath’s 96kHz XCVI processing core with flexible routing, integrated effects and extensive system expansion options, the SQ7+ is well suited to touring, venues, installed audio and professional production applications where fast, intuitive workflow and comprehensive control are essential.

Designed for fast, flexible mixing

The SQ7+ features 33 motorised faders, 16 assignable SoftKeys and 8 SoftRotaries, providing engineers with extensive physical control across larger channel counts and more demanding live workflows. A responsive 9" touchscreen interface with customisable layouts and colour coded channel organisation helps keep navigation clear during busy productions.

Comprehensive onboard processing and effects

Every channel includes integrated processing tools including EQ, compression, gating and filtering for detailed mix shaping and control. The SQ7+ also includes 8 RackExtra FX engines and 4 RackUltra FX engines, offering access to a wide range of reverbs, delays, modulation and vocal processing effects with dedicated sends and returns.

Recording, playback and system integration

The integrated USB audio interface supports multitrack recording, playback, livestreaming and virtual soundcheck applications at both 96kHz and 48kHz. SQ-Drive functionality also allows direct recording to USB storage without requiring an external computer, making the mixer suitable for live production, rehearsal and playback applications.

Built for touring and installation

A durable all-metal chassis and comprehensive expansion options make the SQ7+ suitable for demanding touring schedules, professional venues and installed audio systems. Support for Dante, Waves, MADI and SLink expansion cards allows the mixer to integrate easily into larger audio networks and production environments.
