This collection includes a range of colourful, durable instruments in different sizes and formats, from djembes and bongos to floor drums, gathering drums and hand percussion, plenty of ways for children to explore rhythm and music.

Djembes and hand drums

The Remo Kids djembe provides a traditional drum shape in a size designed for younger players, with an 8in head and 14in height. Its pre-tuned design and Acousticon shell make it ready for playing, while the drum produces different tones depending on where the head is struck.

For group activities, the Remo Kids hand drums set of 5 provides five graduated drums, allowing children to explore differences in pitch and dynamics. The drums feature Acousticon shells and weather-resistant Skyndeep heads and are supplied with beaters.

Bongos and konga

The collection includes both Remo Kids 5in and 6in bongos and Remo Rhythm Club bongos with 5in and 6in heads. Both provide two playing surfaces with contrasting pitches, giving children an accessible way to experiment with different sounds and rhythms. The Rhythm Club bongos feature textured heads, raised moulded feet and a colourful Rhythm Kids design.

For a different playing experience, the Remo Kids Konga has a 6in head and 15in height, with a strap for carrying or playing between the knees. Its pre-tuned Skyndeep head and Acousticon shell provide a responsive surface for exploring different hand techniques and tones.

Floor and gathering drums

The Remo Kids 10in Floor Tom is a compact drum designed for classroom drum circles and can be played with hands, mallets or sticks. For larger group activities, the Remo Kids Gathering Drum has a 22in head and can also be played using hands, sticks or mallets, making it suitable for shared rhythm activities.

More ways to explore percussion

The collection also includes a Remo frame drum and Remo Rhythm Club 6in tambourine, adding different playing techniques and sounds to the range. The frame drum uses a pre-tuned Fiberskyn head and Acousticon shell, while the Rhythm Club tambourine combines a pre-tuned suede head with four pairs of chrome jingles.

With individual drums and sets available, the Remo Kids range can be used for early percussion activities, classroom music, drum circles and group rhythm work. Choose from different drum sizes and playing styles to give young musicians a varied introduction to percussion.
