Allen & Heath SQ6+ digital mixer

The Allen & Heath SQ6+ is a professional digital mixer designed for live sound, installed audio and recording applications. Expanding on the SQ series platform with additional faders, assignable controls and enhanced hands-on operation, the SQ6+ offers a flexible solution for engineers working on larger and more demanding productions. Combining powerful 96kHz processing, integrated effects and extensive system expansion options, it is equally suited to touring, venues, houses of worship and fixed installations.

Designed for fast, flexible mixing

The SQ6+ features 25 motorised faders, 16 assignable SoftKeys and 4 SoftRotaries, giving engineers greater physical control during live mixing and complex show operation. Its responsive 9" touchscreen interface supports custom channel layouts, colour coding and quick access to commonly used controls, helping streamline workflows in busy environments.

Comprehensive onboard processing and effects

Each input channel includes detailed processing tools including EQ, compression, gating and filtering for precise mix control. The SQ6+ also provides access to a wide range of built-in effects, with 8 RackExtra FX engines and 4 RackUltra FX engines offering reverbs, delays, modulation, vocal processing and more with dedicated sends and returns.

Recording, playback and system integration

The integrated USB audio interface supports multitrack recording, playback, livestreaming and virtual soundcheck applications at both 96kHz and 48kHz. Direct USB recording through SQ-Drive allows sessions and performances to be captured without the need for an external computer, making the mixer well suited to live production and rehearsal environments.

Built for touring and installation

A durable all-metal chassis and flexible expansion capabilities make the SQ6+ suitable for touring systems, installed audio and professional production setups. Support for Dante, Waves, MADI and SLink expansion cards allows the mixer to integrate into larger audio networks as system requirements grow.
