Gopak Ultralight staging sets
These sets provide a convenient way to create a complete stage without having to select individual decks and risers separately. Each package combines lightweight aluminium staging components with the fittings needed for assembly, making them practical for venues where staging needs to be set up, dismantled and stored regularly.
The range includes four package sizes:
4m x 2m – a compact stage configuration that can also be arranged as an 8m x 1m runway
6m x 2m – a larger configuration providing additional performance space while retaining the flexibility of the Ultralight system
5m x 3m – a wider stage package that can also be configured as 7m x 2m or a 1m x 15m runway
6m x 3m – the largest package in the collection, providing an expansive performance area and alternative configurations including 9m x 2m and a 1m x 18m runway
Lightweight and easy to assemble
Ultralight staging uses aluminium risers and high-strength decks to provide a robust stage while keeping the individual components manageable. The concertina-style risers fold for compact storage, while the decks have a depth of just 30mm when stored. Assembly is designed to be straightforward, using the included Allen key to secure the decks and join the stage sections.
The system has been tested for an evenly distributed load of up to 1000kg per square metre, with point load testing up to 180kg. The aluminium components are also 100% recyclable, and the Ultralight system carries a five-year guarantee.
Carpet or vinyl finishes
The Gopak Ultralight packages are available with either anthracite grey carpet or black vinyl deck finishes. Both options provide a hard wearing stage surface, allowing the package to be selected to suit the venue and type of performance.
Each package also includes a step unit for easier access to the stage. Valances and guardrails are available separately where required.
Staging for schools and performance venues
These ready-made staging packages are particularly useful for schools, theatres, community halls and other venues that need a flexible performance platform. Their modular design allows the stage to be configured in different layouts, while the folding components make storage and transportation more manageable between events.
