Yamaha workstation and arranger keyboards
Workstation and arranger keyboards combine extensive sound libraries with automatic accompaniment, recording functions and hands-on performance controls. They are designed for players who want more than a conventional keyboard, providing tools for developing arrangements, accompanying performances and exploring different musical styles.
The Yamaha Genos2 sits at the top of the range, combining FM and AWM tone generation with 1,900+ Voices, 800 Styles, a 9in colour touchscreen, Chord Looper and extensive real-time controls. It also includes features such as Ambient Drums, Style Dynamics Control and Vocal Harmony for more detailed performance and arrangement control.
Yamaha PSR-SX arranger keyboards
The PSR-SX920, PSR-SX720 and PSR-SX620 provide portable arranger workstations with 61-note keyboards and a wide selection of Voices and Styles. The PSR-SX920 offers 1,587 Voices, 63 Drum/SFX Kits and 575 preset Styles, while the PSR-SX720 provides 1,377 Voices and 480 XG Voices alongside 480 preset Styles. The PSR-SX620 offers over 1,000 Voices and 450 Styles in a more compact design.
Specialist oriental sounds
For players working with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean musical styles, the Yamaha PSR-A5000 provides a dedicated collection of oriental Voices and Styles. It includes 299 Oriental Voices, 44 Oriental Drum Kits and 260 Oriental Styles, alongside sounds including oud, qanun and nay. Its Style Section Time Signatures also allow different time signatures to be used within a single Style.
Accessories for workstation keyboards
The collection also includes the Yamaha GNS-MS01 speaker set, an optional 2.1 speaker system designed specifically for Yamaha Genos and Genos2 workstations. The system comprises two 20W satellite speakers and a 40W subwoofer, providing dedicated amplification for these speakerless workstations. The GNS-MS01 is compatible with both the original Genos and Genos2.
