The NUVO Clarineo collection supports beginners as they build confidence, develop technique and progress towards a full-size clarinet. Pitched in the key of C, the Clarineo makes it easy to play from concert pitch music alongside recorders, flutes, pianos and classroom ensembles, making it particularly well suited to primary music education and whole-class instrumental teaching.

Constructed from lightweight polymer with silicone components, the NUVO Clarineo is fully waterproof, easy to clean and designed to withstand the demands of regular school use. Its smaller size, shorter finger stretches and reduced tone hole spacing make it much easier for younger players to handle, while the traditional clarinet fingering system helps students develop techniques that transfer directly to a standard B minor clarinet as they progress. An adjustable thumb rest provides additional comfort, and the instrument's rich, mellow tone and fully chromatic 3½-octave range encourage confident musical development from the very first lesson.

Featuring the lightweight C Clarineo, reeds, a protective case and essential maintenance accessories, it provides an accessible starting point for beginners. Designed to encourage correct embouchure, breath control and finger technique, the Clarineo offers a natural progression to a full-size B♭ clarinet while remaining easy to play, transport and maintain.

The NUVO WindStars Clarineo class set has been developed specifically for whole-class instrumental teaching and group music education. Including ten Clarineo instruments alongside dedicated WindStars tutor books for teachers and students, it provides a structured programme that supports music literacy, ensemble playing and progressive skill development.
