A-frames are popular with schools, theatres and churches as it makes a grand piano easy to position and helps retain the overall tuning stability of the instrument, as well as protecting the structure of the piano.
Suitable for practically any size of grand piano they are fitted simply by lifting each piano leg and adjusting the frame underneath. The piano is then lowered gently, and the leg held the correct position in a small recessed compartment on the A-frame.
