Chamberlain Music provide a range of junior, rock, and fusion kits aimed at student and progressing drummers.  We have a number of affordable drum kits for education – perfect for schools, music hubs, performance venues and more.

All drum kits are supplied as 5-piece kits and include a bass drum or kick drum, snare drum, two mounted toms or rack toms, a floor tom, and all necessary hardware. Many supplied also include a standard cymbal pack with hi-hat, crash and ride; some even include a drum throne and sticks.

We supply quality drum kits from Mapex, Pearl, and Yamaha.

Junior kits

For the young beginner, junior kits are a great way to introduce drums to children 10 and under. Junior kits are simply smaller versions of a full sized kit, and responds just like a regular drum kit –they are NOT toy drums! Start learning and playing the drums with a junior kit from Chamberlain Music.

The Pearl Roadshow junior drum kit is available in either a jet black or grindstone sparkle finish. It also comes complete with hardware and cymbals and is fully adjustable.

The Pearl Roadshow 18” junior drum kit is the perfect student kit, and features a Pro Pearl stick bag as well as two pairs of Maple 5A drumsticks. It’s also available in a choice of finishes: bronze or charcoal metallic, jet black, and wine red.

Fusion kits

Fusion kits are slightly smaller compared to a rock kit, typically featuring a 20” bass drum or kick drum, with 10” and 12” mounted toms and a 14” floor tom. That slightly more compact, punchy and direct sound can be suited to a range of genres, including jazz, fusion, pop, function band music and more.

We supply a variety of fusion kits from Pearl, who are renowned for their top-quality drum kits used by professionals and students alike. A perfect student kit is the Pearl Roadshow 20” fusion drum kit, as well as the Pearl Export EXX705N fusion drum kit (available in satin shadow or jet black, smokey chrome, black cherry glitter, high voltage blue and matte white finishes). Other great kits from Pearl include the Pearl EXL Export Lacquer fusion drum kit which features a superb blend of poplar and Asian mahogany shells (available in raspberry sunset and indigo night finishes), and the Pearl EXL Export lacquer rock fusion drum kit which is ideal for use in gigs with its sturdy build (available in ember dawn and indigo night finishes).

We also offer great kits from Yamaha, a brand trusted by musicians all across the world, such as the Yamaha RYDEEN fusion drum kit which is perfect for both beginner and intermediate players (available in burgundy, black or silver glitter, and fine blue finishes). Suitable for both beginner and professionals, the Yamaha Stage Custom birch fusion drum kit (available in raven black, cranberry red, honey amber, natural wood and pure white finishes).

Rock kits

Ideal for gigs and concerts, rock kits provide a great sound that will amplify your playing, and of course are also a brilliant choice for any schools that have student rock bands. A rock kit typically includes a 22” bass drum with 12” and 13” mounted toms and a 16” floor tom. Great for volume and bigger tones usually associated with rock but can be used for a variety of genres.

Some kits that are perfect for beginner rockers at school include the Mapex Comet 22” rock drum kit, (available in indigo blue, infra red or dark black) the Pearl Roadshow 22” rock drum kit (available in wine red, charcoal or bronze metallic and jet black) and the Yamaha RYDEEN rock drum kit (available in silver, black or burgundy glitter, and fine blue).
