Digital mixers and recording systems provide flexible control for live sound, rehearsal, recording and performance, with options ranging from compact mixers for smaller setups to large-format consoles and rackmount systems for demanding productions. This collection includes products from Allen & Heath, Midas, PreSonus, Soundcraft, Yamaha and Zoom, alongside compact mixing and recording solutions for more specialised applications.

For portable mixing

The Allen & Heath CQ-20B combines 16 mic/line inputs with wireless control, making it well suited to live performances, rehearsal spaces and setups where the mixer needs to be positioned away from the main listening or performance area. The Soundcraft Ui16 and Ui24R take a similar remote-controlled approach, allowing mixes to be managed from connected devices without requiring a conventional mixing surface.

Larger systems

Larger systems provide substantially more inputs and control for complex live productions. The Allen & Heath SQ5 offers 48 channels with 16 faders, while the PreSonus StudioLive Series III 64S provides 64-channel digital mixing for larger performance and production environments. For applications where a full console is not practical, rackmount options such as the Midas M32C, PreSonus StudioLive Series III 32R and Yamaha TF-RACK provide extensive digital mixing capabilities in a compact format.

Digital mixers

The collection also includes digital mixers designed around recording and content creation. The Zoom LiveTrak L-8, L12next and L-20 combine digital mixing with multitrack recording, making them useful for rehearsals, small live performances, podcasts and music production. The Zoom LiveTrak L-20R provides the same portable approach in a rackmount-style format, while the Tascam DP-24SD offers a dedicated 24-track Portastudio for recording projects without relying on a computer.

For smaller or more straightforward setups, the Citronic CSM compact 4-channel mixer, Peavey 6 Bluetooth mixer and Yamaha AG03MK2 provide accessible mixing options, with the Yamaha particularly suited to live streaming and content creation. The Yamaha AG06MK2 expands the input capacity for more involved streaming or recording setups, while the Yamaha MGX12V and MGX16V add video interfaces for audio and video production workflows.

Hybrid mixers

Hybrid mixers such as the PreSonus StudioLive AR8C, AR12C and AR16C, combining analogue-style mixing with USB connectivity for recording and computer-based audio. For larger digital systems, the Midas DL32 provides 32 inputs and 16 outputs as a stagebox, extending the connectivity of compatible digital mixing systems. The PreSonus FaderPort 8 offers hands-on fader and transport control for compatible recording software, while the Akai Professional MIDIMIX provides compact USB MIDI control for computer-based music production.

Whether you need a portable mixer for a rehearsal room, remote-controlled system for live performance, multitrack recording setup, rackmount solution or large-format digital console, this collection covers a broad range of mixing and recording requirements. With products spanning compact personal setups through to professional live sound systems.
