The Howarth S40C TP is graduate instrument designed for intermediate to advanced level players. Lighter in weight than our professional model oboes, the keywork of the SO4C has many of the same features as a professional level instrument with the dual-system, allowing a variety of fingerings and trills.
An ideal upgrade from the student models, the SO40C will comfortably take players past grade 8 to advanced level.
With a Grenadilla (also known as African Blackwood) construction, the oboe produces a rich and resonant sound with fantastic projection, while also being highly resistant to moisture and changes in humidity.
The silver played keywork provides a bright and professional look as well as great durability and looks professional.
