HH Audio Q12FX 12-Channel Analogue Mixing Console
The HH Audio Q12FX is a 12-channel analogue mixer. It combines 6 mono channels with microphone inputs and line-level connectivity with 4 stereo line input channels. These work to provide connections for microphones, keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines and other audio equipment. It comes with a robust chassis and comprehensive mixing controls that are especially helpful for school bands, sound engineers and larger school venues that must manage multiple audio sources.
The Q12FX includes single-knob compression on channels 1–4, 3-band EQ and a 75Hz low-cut filter to help shape and balance incoming signals. 16 onboard DSP effects provide reverb, delay and echo options, while a 9-band master graphic EQ with feedback detection helps adjust the overall mix. The integrated two-in/two-out USB audio interface also supports recording and playback with a computer.
Flexible inputs for live sound and recording
6 XLR microphone inputs are available across the mono and stereo input channels, alongside 4 mono 6.3mm line inputs and 4 stereo line input channels. This range of connections supports combinations of microphones, instruments and playback equipment. Global +48V phantom power is available for compatible condenser microphones, and pan controls on each channel allow sources to be positioned within the stereo mix.
Channel EQ and compression
Each channel has 3-band EQ, with low, mid and high controls centred at 100Hz, 2.5kHz and 12kHz. The 75Hz low-cut filter on channels 1–8 helps reduce unwanted low-frequency rumble, particularly when using microphones. Channels 1–4 also feature single-knob compression to help control changes in signal level from sources such as vocals and instruments.
Built-in effects and master graphic EQ
The Q12FX features 16 onboard DSP effects, including reverb, delay and echo options, allowing effects to be added without a separate processor. Its 9-band master graphic EQ includes feedback detection to help identify and manage problem frequencies in the overall mix, dual subgroups provide additional control over groups of channels, while two auxiliary sends support external monitoring or effects routing.
USB recording and comprehensive monitoring
The integrated two-in/two-out USB audio interface connects the mixer to a compatible computer for recording performances as well as audio playback. The mixers balanced stereo XLR main outputs connect to a PA system or other compatible equipment, while dedicated monitor outputs and a headphone connection support listening while recording and it's stereo RCA connections provide additional input and output options.
