Yamaha B20 SILENT Piano™: Performance when you want it, silence when you need it

The second model in the new 2026 Yamaha B series, the B20 measures 116cm tall and is the first model in the range to feature traditional style cabinetry with a front pedestal leg and castors. Its size means longer strings and a larger soundboard than in the smaller B10, which along with upgraded under-felted hammers translates into a much more powerful and resonant tone.

Fitted with the Yamaha's new SC3 Silent system, the B20 SC3 allows the piano to be played with headphones, and completely silent to everyone but the pianist. A handy tool for learning, recording and home practice, the SC3 system benefits from useful features including a built-in record facility, a metronome, 20 rhythm accompaniments and compatibility with apps including Smart Pianist.

An excellent choice of mid-size upright for the family home or practice space, the B20 is an extremely capable piano and well suited to the intermediate player, particularly with the SC3 Silent system.
