This Fletcher and Newman heatproof carpet is cleverly designed to protect your upright pianos from heat damage. It does this by redirecting heat back into the floor, which will protect the wooden components from damage caused by rising hot air. Plus, the insulated carpet also acts as noise absorption, and it’ll improve tuning stability too. It’s highly recommended for those who have underfloor heating or those living in flats or apartments.
These heatproof carpets are made in the UK and are available in either black or beige to suit the piano and your décor. You can also choose from a large carpet suitable for traditional-style upright pianos with front pedestal legs with castors such as the Yamaha U1 or U3, or a small size for modern-style instruments such as the Yamaha B1 or Kawai K-15E.
