Introducing the pre-owned Yamaha SE132 upright piano c.2013
Still a current model and sitting towards the very peak of Yamaha’s upright piano lineup, the SE132 is a premium level, handcrafted instrument designed to compete in the same area of the market as Bosendorfer, Bluthner, Steinway, Bechstein and more. Hailed by Yamaha as a meeting of East and West, the design of the SE132 combines Yamaha’s renowned action geometry and precision engineering with European Renner hammers and a Bavarian spruce soundboard. The result is a responsive and remarkably well balanced instrument with an extraordinary depth of tone, and one which will suit the demands of the performing musician and enthusiastic amateur alike.
Standing at 132cm tall it is also the largest upright in Yamaha’s arsenal, and is factory fitted with a sostenuto pedal instead of a practice mechanism, giving it the same pedaling functionality as an acoustic grand piano. This makes the SE132 an ideal purchase for those who require the performance of a grand piano but lack sufficient space to house one. Elegant traditional style cabinetry includes refined features such as a soft-closing and lockable fallboard, with a long length and felt lined music desk.
This example from 2013 is in excellent condition throughout and presents a rare opportunity to purchase a performance quality acoustic upright piano at a fraction of the cost of a new equivalent. The piano has been freshly serviced by our workshop technicians and is on display, ready for selection and prompt delivery.
