The Edelweiss U52, circa 2013, is a beautifully presented, Yamaha U3-sized upright piano that combines impressive musical performance with classic styling. Standing at 132cm tall, its elegant traditional cabinet is finished in a sophisticated piano black with chrome fittings and a soft-close fallboard. Carefully maintained by its one owner from new, it features an 88-note keyboard, three pedals including celeste, and a quality solid spruce soundboard by Strunz. With a speaking string length comparable to that of a small grand piano, the U52 offers excellent potential for a rich, full-bodied sound and an expressive playing experience.
Adding to its appeal is the integrated Silent system, which allows the player to enjoy the full benefits of an acoustic piano whilst also having the option of practising privately through headphones. This makes it an ideal instrument for the home, offering flexibility without compromising on traditional piano performance. Well specified and thoughtfully designed, the Edelweiss U52 is particularly suited to the advancing pianist looking for a dependable, capable instrument with room to grow. Combining attractive cabinetry, versatile features and impressive value for money, it represents an excellent opportunity to own a high-quality upright piano.
