This is a complete 4/4 violin outfit built around the intermediate-grade Suzuki Violin 510. Made using traditional craftsmanship and carefully selected European tonewoods, the violin combines a hand-carved spruce soundboard with a maple back, sides and neck for a rich, developed sound.
The outfit includes a Pernambuco bow, lightweight Suzuki VO-7 oblong case and Pirastro rosin, providing the essential equipment needed for playing and transporting the instrument. It is a well-equipped option for progressing violinists looking for an intermediate-grade instrument and matching accessories.
The heart of the outfit is the Suzuki Violin 510, an intermediate-grade instrument made using traditional craftsmanship. Its soundboard is carefully hand-carved from good-quality spruce, while the back, sides and neck use selected maple. Suzuki uses wood that has been carefully dried for more than 10 years, including materials originally suitable for higher-grade models.
The carefully selected maple back has a particularly vivid grain, giving the violin an attractive natural appearance alongside its developed tonal character.
The included bow uses Pernambuco for its stick, a traditional bow-making material valued for its playing characteristics. The frog is made from ebony with nickel silver fittings, providing a well-specified bow to complement the 510 violin.
