How our reviews work

  • A few days after your order ships we'll email you a link to leave a review. When your feedback is published it will carry a Customer verified badge, so others know it came from a real order with us.
  • We only ever edit a review to remove profanity, spam, or personal details - otherwise it's published exactly as written, good or bad. We won’t ever remove or edit critical ones.
  • You don't need to have bought a product from us to review it - if you know the product, we want you to let other shoppers know what you honestly think, using the form on the product page. These are moderated in the same way, but won't carry our Customer verified badge.

Introducing the Laney Richter RB1 15W bass guitar combo amplifier

The Laney RB1 bass guitar combo amplifier carries all the features that you need in a practice amp! This super compact bass combo houses a custom designed 8" driver and delivers a punchy 15 watts RMS of solid bass tone. The preamp features a powerful three band EQ, an on-board compressor, and an internal limiter, along with a mini jack headphone socket for silent practice and mini input jack that allows for media player connection, letting you play along with your favourite tracks.

The RB1 features a dual-position cabinet design, so it can be used as a conventional stage combo or, if the amplifier is to be used up close to the player, then it can be used in a “kicked back” orientation, meaning that the amp’s output is directed more towards a player’s ears. It’s easy to tilt it to an angle that will give the best sound projection for your room.

You can also connect to an external sound source of your choice, which can be used for playing backing tracks into your unit.

Please note: the volume of music/backing track is controlled by the volume on the external sound source itself.
