A powerful active PA speaker designed to provide sound for live bands, school plays, stage monitoring or even spoken presentations. Inside is a 15" HH-designed low-mid driver, a 1.33" compression driver, the high-grade class D b-amplifier delivers great sound without restrictions, all contained in a portable enclosure.
An integrated two-channel mixer allows audio sources to be connected directly, while onboard digital signal processing (DSP) provides four selectable sound modes for different applications. With a multi-angle cabinet, 3 moulded carry handles and four M8 suspension points, the TRE-1501 offers flexible positioning for portable PA setups and suitable installed sound applications.
With a frequency response of 41Hz–20kHz and a maximum peak sound pressure level of 131dB at 1m, the demanding sound of a live band is not a problem for this speaker. Its 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage pattern helps distribute sound across the intended listening area.
The onboard DSP offers four preset modes: Music, Live, Monitor and Vocal. These settings allow the speaker's response to be adapted sounds such as playback, live bands or onstage monitoring and announcements.
Not settled with 4 presets, the speaker also contains more DSP processing includes crossover management, equalisation, dual-band limiters, and phase and time optimisation. The speaker is also setup to protect against compression and built-in warnings telling when it's being pushed too hard.
Two balanced XLR/6.3mm jack combination inputs allow any compatible audio source to be connected directly to the speaker. Balance input levels with individual channel controls Individual channel gain controls help balance input levels. The speaker also features a ground lift switch, master volume control and selectable EQ modes.
The Tensor speaker is protect by a robust polypropylene enclosure with 3 moulded carry handles for easier transport and setup. Its multi-angle design incorporates a 45° monitor angle, allowing the speaker to be positioned towards performers when used as a floor monitor. You can also switch off the illuminated front logo, letting the speaker suit its environment cleanly.
Should it be needed, a 35mm pole socket supports mounting on a compatible speaker stand, while four M8 mounting points provide options for suitable suspended installations using appropriate rigging hardware. The heavy-gauge black powder-coated steel grille, complete with acoustic foam backing which protects the speakers components.
