This active speaker is a versatile choice for for school bands, stage plays, stage monitoring and spoken presentations. Inside is a 12" HH-designed low-mid driver, a 1.33" compression driver, the high-grade class D b-amplifier delivers great sound without restrictions, all contained in a portable enclosure.
An integrated 2-channel mixer allows audio sources to be connected directly, while onboard digital signal processing (DSP) provides 4 selectable sound modes for different applications. With a multi-angle cabinet, 3 moulded carry handles and flexible mounting options.
This combines a 12" HH-designed professional low-mid driver, featuring an imported glass-reinforced cone, with a 1.33" compression driver. Its Class D bi-amplifier delivers 1400W peak power, providing high output for amplified music and speech.
With a frequency response of 45Hz–18kHz and a maximum peak sound pressure level of 130dB at 1m, the speaker is designed for demanding live sound environments. Its 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage pattern helps distribute sound across the intended listening area.
The onboard DSP offers 4 preset modes: Music, Live, Monitor and Vocal. These settings allow the speaker's response to be adapted sounds such as playback, live bands or onstage monitoring and announcements.
Additional DSP processing includes crossover management, equalisation, dual-band limiters, and phase and time optimisation. Integrated protection and limiting help manage excessive signal levels, while the clip indicator provides a visual warning when the system is being driven too hard.
2 balanced XLR/6.3mm jack combination inputs allow compatible audio sources to be connected directly to the speaker. Individual channel gain controls help balance input levels, ensuring that you don't require a separate mixing console.
The mixed output allows audio to be passed to additional compatible equipment. The speaker also features a ground lift switch, master volume control and selectable EQ modes, nice extras adding more and more value.
The Tensor speaker is protect by a robust polypropylene enclosure with 3 moulded carry handles for easier transport and setup. Its multi-angle design incorporates a 45° monitor angle, allowing the speaker to be positioned towards performers when used as a floor monitor. You can also switch off the illuminated front logo, letting the speaker suit its environment cleanly.
Should it be needed, a 35mm pole socket supports mounting on a compatible speaker stand, while 4 M8 mounting points provide options for suitable suspended installations using appropriate rigging hardware. The heavy-gauge black powder-coated steel grille, complete with acoustic foam backing which protects the speakers components.
