Shape your ideal bass tone

The DBF50 features two footswitchable channels: a clean FET channel for articulate, transparent tones and a tube-style Drive channel for everything from subtle warmth to rich overdrive. A dedicated Mix mode blends both channels together, allowing you to combine clarity with vintage-style character.

A powerful 3-band EQ is joined by Laney's Tilt control, making it easy to shape your sound for different instruments, playing styles and performance environments. A switchable Preshape mode also delivers an instant mid-scooped tone that's well suited to slap bass and modern rock sounds.

Designed for modern players

Whether you're practising silently, recording or performing live, the DBF50 offers a comprehensive range of connectivity. It includes an auxiliary input for playing along with backing tracks, a headphone output for quiet practice, an effects loop for integrating external pedals and processors, plus both balanced XLR DI and line outputs for recording or connecting directly to a PA system.

A removable front grille adds further versatility for studio applications, while the rugged plywood cabinet, reinforced handle and protective steel corners ensure the amplifier is built to withstand regular transport and everyday use.
