Laney Digbeth Foundry DBF30 30W bass guitar combo amplifier

The Laney DBF30 is a compact 30W bass guitar combo amplifier for home practice, rehearsals and players who want a straightforward setup. Its 8" HH Blue professional woofer delivers a defined bass sound, while switchable drive and flexible tone controls let you shape your sound to suit different styles of playing.

With a lightweight design, auxiliary input and headphone output, the DBF30 offers the essential features for practising at home and playing along with backing tracks.

Explore the Digbeth Foundry range

Part of Laney's Digbeth Foundry series, the DBF30 sits alongside the DBF50 and DBF100 available from Chamberlain Music, giving bassists a choice of power ratings and speaker sizes to suit different playing needs. If you're looking for a larger setup, the Laney DBF50 and Laney DBF100 offer alternatives within the range.

Shape your bass tone

The DBF30 combines a clean bass sound with a switchable tube-style Drive function, adding warmth and grit when you want a more overdriven tone. Its three-band EQ gives you separate bass, middle and treble controls to adjust the overall sound.

The Preshape switch applies a mid-scooped EQ curve that emphasises the low and high frequencies, while the Tilt control lets you shift the balance between lower and higher frequencies. Together, these controls give you several ways to tailor your sound without a complicated setup.

Compact design for everyday practice

The auxiliary input lets you connect an external audio source to play along with music or backing tracks. A 3.5mm headphone output also allows you to practise quietly when you don't want to play through the speaker.

Weighing 8.3kg, the DBF30 is easy to move between rooms and rehearsal spaces. Its MDF cabinet has a hard-wearing black vinyl finish, steel corner protectors and a reinforced top handle for everyday practicality.
