Introducing the Wenger Symphony chair in black
Designed specifically for professional orchestral settings, the Wenger Symphony chair offers a refined blend of elegance, ergonomic support, and all-day comfort. With its smart black upholstery and posture-enhancing construction, this chair delivers the ideal seated position for both string and wind players. Whether on stage or in rehearsal, it’s built to maintain focus, form, and comfort through even the most demanding performances.
Engineered for musical excellence
Wenger’s expertise in musician-focused design is evident in every detail. The Symphony Chair features high-density molded foam in both the seat and back, offering total body support. The seat pan rises 4.5° above the thigh area with a 97° backrest angle, placing musicians in a seated posture that mirrors standing, mitigating back strain and promoting better playing technique. The adjustable seat angle gives performers the flexibility to choose between two optimised positions, while the optional lumbar pad adds customised support for extended use.
Built to perform and endure
With a 14-gauge oval-tube steel frame, blow-molded polyethylene seat, and BLOCKaide™ stain-repellent fabric, the Symphony Chair is as durable as it is comfortable. It’s available in 18.5" and 19.5" seat heights and includes black polypropylene leg guides for floor protection and easy movement. Stackable up to six on a cart or four standalone, it's a space-efficient choice for performance halls. This is Wenger’s most supportive and sophisticated seating solution for serious musicians.
