Bring your music to life with the Yamaha PSR-SX620, an arranger workstation combining a broad range of sounds with intuitive performance controls. With over 1,000 Voices and 450 Styles, it gives you the tools to create expressive performances across a wide range of musical genres.

Super Articulation (S.Art!) Voices add further realism by capturing the characteristic articulations and expressive details of real instruments. These Voices help bring greater depth and expression to your playing, while the redesigned control panel keeps frequently used functions within easy reach.

Intuitive control and modern design

The redesigned panel layout makes the PSR-SX620 straightforward to navigate, with an assignable Joystick Controller, two Live Control knobs and dedicated controls for the Chord Looper. These controls provide direct access to important performance functions, allowing you to shape sounds, adjust Styles and control chord sequences while you play.

The modern design is complemented by refinements to the instrument's construction and sound projection. From practising and experimenting with new ideas to developing complete performances, the PSR-SX620 is designed to keep the controls and creative tools within easy reach.

Powerful sound from a compact design

The PSR-SX620 features a newly developed speaker system with an Internal BassPort and enlarged internal sound chamber. The front-facing bass reflex design improves low-frequency response, while structural refinements help produce a tighter and cleaner sound.

The instrument also features upgraded audio output circuitry, providing a clearer and more powerful signal when connected to external speakers or a PA system. This makes the PSR-SX620 equally suited to playing through its built-in speakers or as part of a larger sound system.

Expand your instrument

The EXPANSION EXPLORER App makes it easier to discover and manage additional content for the PSR-SX620. Available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac, the app lets you search, preview and manage Expansion content, with recommendations to help you discover new sounds and Styles.

Expansion Packs can further customise the instrument with additional Voices and Styles, including sounds and rhythms inspired by music from around the world.

Build performances with Chord Looper

The Chord Looper gives you quick access to recording and playing back chord sequences in real time. This can free your left hand to play full piano parts, help you build sections of a song or provide a useful way to practise.

Up to eight chord sequences can be stored in each bank, with the option to create an unlimited number of banks containing your own chord progressions. Built-in presets provide another starting point when developing an arrangement.

Add movement with Multi Pads

Multi Pads let you trigger rhythmic phrases, melodic patterns and loops during a performance, adding extra energy and variety to your arrangements. In addition to built-in MIDI phrases, Audio Link Multi Pads allow you to assign your own WAV audio and trigger custom sounds and samples as you play.

Turn MIDI songs into Styles

The MIDI Song to Style function allows a standard MIDI file to be converted into a ready-to-play Style with intros, main sections, fill-ins and endings. This provides another way to develop existing MIDI content into playable accompaniment for the PSR-SX620.
