Top tier design elements
A new bell design contributes to optimum resistance for a powerful tonal core. It is a one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell, encouraging a warmer tone and superior control over intonation and tuning than you'll find in lower models. This new design also enhances playability in the upper register; if you play lead in a big band or are a fixture in pit bands for musicals, the YTR8335 won't let you down.
Incredible precision
Thinner valve casing and pistons, as well as the modified angle of the branch tube (knuckle), result in improved response and provide the performer with an ideal blowing resistance. The button on the 1st slide is for fine-tuning the blowing resistance for better control.
Yamaha also offers two different finishes for this Custom Xeno series model. One is a standard, clean silver plating, which will look right at home in any scenario you find yourself in. The second, with mixed coloured lacquer, adds a little more flair and might suit soloists who are after a more distinctive look.
