Yamaha have been manufacturing instruments for over a century. They are now recognised as one of the leading brands of musical instruments, and have been responsible for creating models that are now industry-standard. Their years of research and experience have led to the production of some of the best student instruments on the market, and they are a company that consistently deliver ornate craftsmanship and superb tonal qualities.
The YTR-3335 trumpet is an ideal instrument for beginner to intermediate students progressing through the grades.
For the first time, Yamaha have designed a student trumpet with a reversed main tuning slide, which creates a remarkable feel and response. The YTR-3335 is gold lacquered, and has an 11.65mm medium large bore which offers a broad, expansive sound. The bore of a brass instrument is the interior chamber that creates a path through which the air can travel and vibrate to make the sound, and the size of the bore can affect the range of the trumpets overall output. Furthermore, the YTR-3335’s pistons are created from monel alloy, a compound that is renowned for good, consistent action and which minimises the need for maintenance.
A brace has been added to the main tuning slide for extra stability and control, and the trumpet's lightweight design makes it perfect for students who regularly transport their instrument to and from lessons and practices.
