Introducing the Yamaha YSL354E student Bb tenor trombone outfit

Designed using many of the qualities from Yamaha’s top models, the YSL354E provides a quick response, accurate intonation and a rich sound, all at an affordable price. With superb weight distribution, the YSL-354 is easy to hold and comfortable to play.


Excellent features, perfect for students and beginners

The chrome-plated yellow brass drawn inner slide is very durable and provides a quick, sensitive response. The one-piece drawn yellow brass outer slide maintains an accurate diameter throughout its length and this type of construction ensures, airtightness, a smooth action and exceptional durability. The specially designed one-piece inner slide stockings guarantee airtight construction and offer a smooth slide action and better alignment, even in the extended 6th and 7th slide positions. The long lasting tubular braces contribute to the overall stability of the slide and enhance the smooth slide action.

The pressure formed tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother airflow, allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance, and the laser-fused pluzuma welded bell ensures continuous even vibrations.


Long lasting and durable

The large, easy-to hold nickel silver bracing guards against possible slide damage if the instrument is dropped and also lessens fatigue while playing. The unique slide lock keeps the slide locked in place, keeping it from accidentally falling. The strong yellow brass construction on the inner and outer slides also ensure great durability.
