This Yamaha YRA3 alto recorder with a Baroque system produces an expressively rich and deep tone. It features a simulated rosewood finish for an elegant and natural wood grain appearance, and the body comprises of 3 parts that assemble and disassemble quickly. Plus, it’s easy to play and durable, making it perfect for schools and other music education settings.
The recorder has an 'arched windway' which allows for any condensation to drain easily and therefore not interrupt the sound. As a result the tone is crystal clear and the sound projects well. It also adds some resistance, which makes it easier to control your breath.
The instrument is supplied in a top quality Yamaha cloth bag, which is crafted from environmentally friendly fabric derived from plants. The finger strap can be installed according to the player's hand to help stabilise the recorder, which is great for young beginners. It also comes with a cleaning rod, joint protection cap, recorder cream, and a detailed fingering chart.
