The Yamaha YCR6335II is a professional series cornet and a successor to the 1997 YCR-6330II. It utilises the newly introduced manufacturing technology of valve casing, which delivers even better quality, especially in the instrument’s tone colour and blow-feel.
The YCR6335II is suitable for both beginner and intermediate players, and it’s also supplied with everything you need to get started, such as a quality mouthpiece and a hardy, lightweight case to keep your instrument safe when you travel to gigs and rehearsals.
The valve casing is the critical heart of any cornet. Everything from basic materials to the processing accuracy has been painstakingly analysed and refined to provide improved breath efficiency and ideal playing resistance. Plus, a brace has been added on the main tuning slide, which provides established tone colour without being buried by surrounding instrumental sounds in orchestras and wind bands.
