Introducing the Yamaha YHR567 double F/Bb French horn outfit

The Yamaha YHR567 double French Horn is part of their intermediate series so is perfect for students who are progressing through the grades, particularly the higher ones from grade 5+ and is also great for advanced players as well.

What is a full double horn?

The double horn was invented to combat the problem of a single horn's limited range of pitches. Before it's invention, a horn player would have to switch between two separate single horns; one pitched in F and the other pitched in Bb. These have now been combined into a double horn with a shared lead pipe and bell section.

What's in the box

This YHR567 full double French Horn has 4 rotary valves with a fixed medium sized bell and a 12mm (0.472") bore creating a rich, strong sound. It comes complete with mouthpiece, hard case, polishing cloth and valve oil.
