A favourite with drummers for decades, the Yamaha Stage Custom has built its reputation on excellent sound, dependable hardware and exceptional value. The Stage Custom Birch continues that formula with 100% birch shells, Yamaha's YESS tom mounting system and high-quality hardware inspired by Yamaha's professional drum ranges.

This five-piece Fusion configuration features a more compact 20in bass drum, together with two rack toms, floor tom and matching snare. It also includes cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, snare stand and bass drum pedal, providing a versatile setup for beginners, students and experienced players alike.

Please note: cymbals and a drum throne are not included, and the kit is supplied boxed and requires assembly. A larger 22in configuration is also available.

100% birch shells

At the heart of the Stage Custom is the sound of 100% birch. The six-ply shells deliver the quick attack, controlled sustain and clear separation that have made birch a long-standing favourite for Yamaha acoustic drums.

YESS tom mounting and flexible positioning

Yamaha's YESS mounting system minimises contact between the hardware and shell, helping the toms resonate freely while remaining secure and stable. The mounting position is carefully placed to reduce interference with shell vibration and makes head changes straightforward.

Combined with Yamaha's proven ball mount and clamp system, the rack toms can be positioned quickly and precisely. The simple ball-joint design gives you plenty of adjustment while holding each drum firmly in place once set.

Professional Yamaha hardware and finish

The Stage Custom benefits from the same attention to detail that runs throughout Yamaha's acoustic drum range. Die-cast bass drum claw hooks feature rubber inserts to help reduce unwanted noise, while adjustable bass drum legs with built-in stoppers make the kit easier to position securely.

A high-gloss lacquer finish gives the shells a premium appearance, while low-mass hardware allows them to resonate naturally. Matching wooden bass drum hoops complete the classic Stage Custom look.
