Introducing the Yamaha C2X grand piano
At 5'8 in length and described by some as a boudoir grand piano, the speaking string length and soundboard area of the Yamaha C2 gives it a significant tonal advantage over the smaller C1. Yamaha's 2013 redesign to create the CX range of C series pianos has added enormously to the potential of this instrument too. The new soundboard design with thickened back frame and the new strings have created a much more resonant piano, as they have right across the new C range. The piano is available in polished ebony along with satin ebony, polished walnut, polished mahogany and polished white.
