Introducing the Yamaha P22 upright piano c.2000
The Yamaha P22 stands at 116cm tall, the same as the UK and Indonesian-built Yamaha P116 models, and was manufactured at Yamaha's facility in Thomaston, Georgia, USA in c.2000.
With distinctively American console style cabinetry, the P22 is a high quality upright offering a different aesthetic to its European market equivalent, designed for use in schools and community spaces. The piano is fitted with large rubberised castors making it easy to move around, while both the fallboard and top board are independently lockable.
It has been privately owned and consequently its walnut veneer finish, keyboard and action are all in excellent condition, of course freshly serviced and polished by our technical team here in Haslemere.
A responsive touch and lively bright tone are typical of Yamaha uprights of the era and the P22 is highly recommended for home and school.
