Pre-owned Yamaha P2 upright piano in polished ebony, c.1981

Introducing the second hand Yamaha P2 upright piano c.1981

A beautifully presented Yamaha P2 upright piano, manufactured in Japan in c.1981 and finished in polished ebony with traditional brass fittings.

Combining Yamaha's renowned Japanese craftsmanship with an appealing tonal character, the P2 offers a pleasing medium-bright sound, with warmth and richness alongside clarity and definition.

Standing at 114cm tall with compact modern style cabinetry, the P2 is a worthwhile alternative to modern uprights such as the Kawai K15 and Yamaha B10, offering renowned Japanese build quality along with additional string length and soundboard area, making for a richer and overall more resonant tone.

Privately owned and in very good technical order, the piano has a few minor cosmetic imperfections commensurate with its age. A lovely example of a classic Japanese Yamaha upright, combining quality construction, musical character and timeless polished ebony styling, and on display in our showroom ready for selection.
