Introducing the Kawai K-18e upright piano c.2003
The Kawai K18 is a beautifully proportioned 112cm upright, combining Kawai’s renowned ‘Ultra-Responsive Action’ with elegant traditional cabinetry. Built on the same-sized frame as the current K-15, the K18 benefits from a full 88-note keyboard, celeste pedal and a smooth, responsive action with a comfortable medium touch.
Finished in attractive light cherry satin veneer and fitted with castors for easy movement, this Japanese-made piano has a timeless furniture-style appearance. Manufactured at Kawai’s main Ryuyo facility in Hamamatsu, Japan, it is a particularly appealing alternative to the more contemporary styling of the current K-15.
This example is in very good condition and has been fully serviced by our workshop. It offers an even, warm tone that is not overly bright and would make an excellent instrument for an advancing student, home pianist or dedicated practice space. A quality Japanese upright with plenty of musical life and classic good looks.
