The TabCabby compact AC tablet charging cabinet provides safe, silent, and secure charging for 16 or 32 tablets and other USB-powered devices — including smartphones, POS systems, Kindles, Androids, and Surfaces — all stored neatly in horizontal shelves designed for easy access and device protection. Whether you choose the 16-device model with one tablet per shelf or the 32-device version storing two per shelf, each compartment accommodates tablets up to 11" including rugged cases, making this unit ideal for classroom use.
The cabinet features a built-in Power7 Management System that delivers simultaneous AC charging with intelligent load balancing, fuse protection, and a programmable timer. Charging schedules can be pre-set for weekdays or customised to your needs using the intuitive LED control panel. Horizontal fixed shelves are slightly tilted to help keep devices secure in transit, while cable clip portholes maintain a tidy internal layout by locking cables in place and preventing strain or damage.
Built with mobility and durability in mind, this unit has a compact footprint, hospital-grade castors, wide-grip ABS handles and reinforced rubber bumpers to ensure smooth movement and protect both devices and surroundings from impacts. A heat-sensitive safety circuit, dual-point locking system and a separate secure power compartment combine to create a high-safety environment, while a fanless passive ventilation system ensures silent operation — even under heavy daily use.
Each model uses dual in-house manufactured power strips (one on each side) to allow simultaneous AC charging of all devices. The Power7 Management System ensures soft-start power delivery, protection against surges, and the ability to set up to three daily schedules, seven days a week. The LED display with two-button control makes adjustments simple and accessible.
All power cables are routed securely from the side power compartment into each shelf through cable clip portholes that keep them anchored, protected and neatly organised. This setup reduces mess, prevents cables from being removed with the device, and protects adaptors from stress or damage.
Despite its capacity, the TabCabby Compact is easy to move. Wide ergonomic handles and large swivel castors allow effortless mobility, while a thick steel base plate keeps wheels firmly secured even during high-impact movement. Rounded rubber bumpers on all corners protect devices and surroundings from knocks and scrapes.
A secure dual-point locking system protects both the main storage area and the separate rear power compartment. The concealed power compartment has a built-in heat sensor that shuts down power if temperatures exceed 32°C (90°F), while inset handles eliminate protrusions that could snap or break during movement. Weldmesh base and rear-side vents allow constant, silent airflow without the need for a fan.
