Create new, infectious tracks in seconds flat with the T-8 beat machine, a miniature rhythm factory featuring the legendary Roland TR drums plus bass from the inimitable TB-303. Great for use at home and in the studio, the compact T-8 is designed to make creating beats and rhythms as simple as possible, wherever you are.

Loaded with comprehensive I/O, the T-8 is ready to be the rhythmic centrepiece of any electronic music setup. You can connect and sync with other AIRA compacts such as the J-6 Chord Synthesizer and E-4 Voice Tweaker. You can also interface with computer DAWS, mobile music apps, as well as hardware instruments via MIDI or USB-C.

The T-8 contains amazing features such as six rhythm tracks with sounds from the influential TR-808, TR-909 and TR-606 drum machines, real time recording with powerful features like step loop, mute, fill, reload and pattern shift, along with advanced rhythm programming with probability, step loop, last step and velocity.

Backed by the TR-REC step sequencer loved by beatmakers since the 1980s, the T-8 makes it simple to develop ideas without having to stop the action. Featuring real-time recording, sub steps, and velocity, the T-8 provides great programming power at your fingertips. With features such as step-loop, pattern shift and probability, it is easy to deliver dynamic performances while constantly evolving your sound.

Authentic bass experience

With the T-8 you can experience an authentic bass experience, including the tactile power to squeeze, squelch and mangle sounds in the moment. Record notes, accents and slides with traditional step-based input or play in parts live with the bottom-row buttons or an external MIDI keyboard.

Features 7 tracks

The T-8 features six drum tracks and one bass track all brought together on an intuitive interface making fast recording and hands-on tweaks easy. With the T-8 you can capture and fire off 64 patterns with up to 32 steps each, shaping sounds and control parts as you go.

Rugged and built to last, the ultra-compact T-8 is designed to be highly transportable, meaning you can create music wherever and whenever you please. The lithium-ion battery also keeps you going for up to 4.5 hours per charge.
