This hybrid material delivers a rich, comfortable tone while preventing deformation from moisture, ensuring consistent sound quality and longevity.
The Suzuki Humming High-Class SU-21W is a beautifully crafted harmonica, blending traditional sound with modern durability, perfect for performers and enthusiasts alike.
A classic tremolo sound
Tremolo harmonicas use double holes, each with two reeds tuned slightly differently, creating a beautiful vibrato effect. The Humming High-Class tremolo model captures this sound with its airtight design, allowing for effortless play and rich, full tones with minimal breath.
Hybrid resin body for superior performance
The Humming High-Class uses Suzuki's unique wood-resin composite comb, which was first used on the popular Manji diatonic harmonicas and has since been very well received. This material contains more than 50% natural wood fibres, allowing you to enjoy the traditional sound of a wooden harmonica with the stability of an ABS comb – it’s the best of both worlds! Resistant to moisture, this specialised comb won’t warp or crack.
Elegant design and effortless playability
Suzuki’s new cover design, inspired by traditional Japanese patterns, enhances playability and brings out the timbre of the hybrid body. The rear hall design ensures the harmonica responds beautifully, giving players a smooth, expressive sound.
This model also features an airtight construction, minimising air leakage and allowing for effortless play. This means you can produce rich, full sound with just light breaths, ensuring you won’t feel fatigued during a performance.
Durable and easy to maintain
The resin body is designed to reduce breath leakage, enhancing reed response. The reed plates are secured with screws, making maintenance and replacement easy.
Features position marks
The white part of the mouthpiece is the position mark, which indicates the sound of "do(c)". If you look for where the mark is at the beginning of a performance, then you can use it as a guide to search for the other notes.
