Premium grade components and incredible British engineering
Hand built in the UK, the Sontronics Delta 2 is created using a propriety circuit that boasts premium-grade components and a custom-wound transformer. The Sontronics ribbon microphones are also the only microphones in the world that feature RFI filters in the circuit to prevent radio frequency interreference entering the signal, meaning these microphones are also ideal for live performances.
Extraordinary care and detail is incorporated into the design of the Delta 2, with British stainless steel mesh used for the grille, and military-spec anodised finish aluminium side pieces and precision-engineered shock mount creating not only an elegant look, but a high quality finish.

Sontronics was founded in 2004 by musician and audio enthusiast Trevor Coley. Since its inception, the company has focused on creating high-quality microphones that blend innovative technology with artistic design, catering to a wide range of audio professionals and musicians. All their products are designed and developed on the south coast of England and all new prototype models are put through rigorous beta-testing with top British producers including Flood (U2, Editors, The Foals) and Paul Epworth (Adele, Coldplay, U2) as well as several engineers at Abbey Road Studios.

All Sontronics products are automatically covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, but any new microphone can be upgraded to Lifetime Warranty if you register your product within 30 days of purchase, via the warranty page on their website here.
