Introducing the Shure SM7B vocal microphone

The SM7B is a cardioid studio microphone which delivers warm and smooth audio reproduction in close-proximity studio and vocal applications. Its features include wide-range frequency response, bass roll off and mid-range control, and internal air suspension shock isolation.

Featuring excellent shielding against electromagnetic hum generated by computer monitors, neon lights, and other electrical devices, this dynamic microphone has a smooth, flat, wide-range frequency response appropriate for music and speech in all professional audio applications.

In addition to its standard windscreen which can be used for general voice and instrumental applications, it also includes the A7WS windscreen for close-talk uses. These close-proximity applications include as voice overs or radio announcements, and the microphone offers maximum protection from plosive breath noise to create a warmer, more intimate sound.
