The RAS1LN incorporates Rico's four-point pressure system, which applies balanced pressure across the reed to promote a clear, responsive sound. Designed to fit most standard hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpieces, it offers an effective replacement or upgrade for student and intermediate instruments without adding unnecessary complexity.
