Alto sax ligature
The Rico alto saxophone ligature is designed to deliver reliable performance, consistent reed response and excellent value for developing players. Manufactured by D'Addario Woodwinds, it features a durable nickel-plated finish and an inverted two-screw design that distributes pressure evenly across the reed. This straightforward design provides secure reed support while allowing the reed to vibrate freely, making it a dependable choice for lessons, rehearsals and performances.
The RAS1LN incorporates Rico's four-point pressure system, which applies balanced pressure across the reed to promote a clear, responsive sound. Designed to fit most standard hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpieces, it offers an effective replacement or upgrade for student and intermediate instruments without adding unnecessary complexity.
Four-point pressure system
The ligature uses Rico's four-point contact design to apply equal pressure across the reed. This balanced support allows the reed to vibrate more freely, helping to produce a consistent tone and reliable articulation throughout the instrument's range.
Inverted two-screw design
The inverted twin-screw mechanism positions the adjustment screws opposite the reed, making it easy to align and secure the reed while maintaining even pressure. This proven design provides dependable performance and straightforward adjustment for everyday playing.
Durable nickel-plated construction
Finished in nickel plate, the RAS1LN is designed to withstand regular use while resisting corrosion and wear.
