How our reviews work

  • A few days after your order ships we'll email you a link to leave a review. When your feedback is published it will carry a Customer verified badge, so others know it came from a real order with us.
  • We only ever edit a review to remove profanity, spam, or personal details - otherwise it's published exactly as written, good or bad. We won’t ever remove or edit critical ones.
  • You don't need to have bought a product from us to review it - if you know the product, we want you to let other shoppers know what you honestly think, using the form on the product page. These are moderated in the same way, but won't carry our Customer verified badge.

Introducing the Percussion Play handpipes

These handpipes are inclusive and tactile percussion instruments, perfect for all ages and abilities. Designed, as the name suggests, to be played with the hands to create a funky sound, they are ideal for outdoor play spaces due to their sturdiness and inclusivity-oriented design.

By slapping the top of these pipes with your hand, you can create a variety of funky, plosive, staccato sounds. The pipes are tuned and arranged diatonically, allowing for access to hundreds of tunes and providing the opportunity to improvise alone or in groups.

Robust construction for outdoor use

A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) mounting sets and aligns the instrument perfectly, so once installed all that’s left to do is play! There are no beaters or mallets, as you need nothing but your own hands to make great use of these exciting instruments.

Surface mounted vs Ground install

There are two ways to install this Percussion Play product:

Surface mounted

The leg is attached to a base plate, which is then fixed into the ground using anchors. This provides a brilliant level of stability, whilst making it possible to move the product around with relative ease.

Ground install

The leg is directly embedded into the ground, providing excellent, long-lasting stability. However, once placed, the instrument will be very hard to move - perfect for permanent installations.
