The Percussion Plus PP432 is a medium surdo beater designed to produce a punchy, resonant sound from smaller surdos and samba drums. Its lightweight, well-balanced construction makes it comfortable to use during rehearsals, performances and ensemble playing.
The beater features a hard felt head mounted on a smooth aluminium shaft, providing a clear, powerful attack while retaining the resonant character expected from a surdo. A blue wrist tie provides additional security during playing and is particularly useful for marching and samba performances.
The medium-sized hard felt head produces a loud, resonant sound suited to smaller surdos and samba band playing. It offers a punchy response that helps the surdo maintain its role as part of the rhythmic foundation of an ensemble.
