This professional quality timpani mallet features a flannel style head. A flannel style timpani mallet consists of punched flannel discs, layered around a plastic beater head. The PP2854 has a medium/hard density head for a concise and clear tone. The bamboo shaft perfectly balances the mallet whilst the silicone ends add extra grip.
