How our reviews work

  • A few days after your order ships we'll email you a link to leave a review. When your feedback is published it will carry a Customer verified badge, so others know it came from a real order with us.
  • We only ever edit a review to remove profanity, spam, or personal details - otherwise it's published exactly as written, good or bad. We won’t ever remove or edit critical ones.
  • You don't need to have bought a product from us to review it - if you know the product, we want you to let other shoppers know what you honestly think, using the form on the product page. These are moderated in the same way, but won't carry our Customer verified badge.

Introducing the Percussion Plus desktop music stands

This plastic desktop music stand from Percussion Plus is a useful lightweight accessory for class music lessons. It is made from Correx corrugated plastic which is remarkably sturdy when fitted together, and has a lip large enough for even the largest sheet music books. The whole shelf folds down easily to fit into most rucksacks, and weighs just 118g!

Providing versatility for group music lessons

When teaching group instrumental lessons in schools and music hubs, it's important to have all the students reading the correct music together. In fully fledged music classrooms with standard music stands, this is no problem, but these desktop ones allow for better versatility. Simply put on the desks in any classroom and you're ready to go!

Compact convenience for music and more

Although these can't compare with a metal stand in terms of longevity, they are a brilliant tool for younger music classes and even individual beginner students practising recorder or ukulele at home. It can of course be used by non-musicians too e.g. to prop up a recipe book, magazine, or tablet.

How to build the Percussion Plus desktop music stand

Step one

Firmly fold up the ledge at the bottom of the stand.

Step two

Fold down the back of the stand. It should form an acute angle with the front part of the stand.

Step three

Fold in the sides so they are perpendicular to the main back part of the stand.

Step four

Slot the side parts into the ridges underneath the ledge.

Step five

Put your stand upright and it's good to go!

good value. not expecting these to be heavy duty but they are fine for the job. they're light and very usable.

not the steadiest of stands

Excellent service - prompt delivery and good value. The Percussion Plus desktop music stands are lightweight, sturdy and big enough to support 2xA4 sheets of music, which is what I needed for classes. Great!

Arrived promptly. Excellent service.
