The Percussion Plus 16" bodhran is a traditional Irish frame drum suited to folk music, percussion playing and general musical use. Compact and easy to handle, it is ideal for both beginners and experienced players looking to explore the distinctive sound of this classic instrument.
Traditionally played using a wooden beater, often referred to as a tipper, or simply by hand, the bodhran produces a warm, expressive tone that can be shaped by adjusting hand pressure on the inside of the drum.
This 16" bodhran features the classic Murphy’s Irish Stout logo printed on the front for a traditional appearance. Supplied with a beater and protective bag, it provides everything needed to start playing straight away.
