Manufactured by Percussion Plus, this concert xylophone offers exceptional overall quality and workmanship for a fantastic, worthwhile price. The instrument is a 3.5 octave model with a range from F1 to C5, and it’s perfectly tuned to provide a rounded, resonant sound. The note bar sizes are 38 x 20mm and the instrument is tuned to A=442hz.
The Percussion Plus concert xylophone demonstrates wonderful value for money, being significantly cheaper than anything from either Yamaha or Majestic. They’ve been sold to a number of different schools and orchestras, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
It has precision cut note bars, which are produced from seasoned, solid Paduak wood. It’s mounted on a sturdy metal frame, and built to last for many years.
This model features 4 tough, lockable castors to keep the instrument in place during performances. Additionally, these castors make movement very easy, so transport isn’t a problem. The foldable legs also help to make transporting the instrument hassle free, so you can take your xylophone to auditions, performances, rehearsals and wherever you might need it.
Plus, it’s height adjustable between 79 - 84.5cm, so that each player can find the right, most comfortable playing height.
Please note: all large tuned percussion instruments are delivered boxed and will need to be assembled.
