This Hi-Hat Stand is a sturdy, lightweight hardware solution designed for student drummers and advancing players. Its direct-pull drive system provides smooth pedal action and responsive cymbal control, while the traditional Eliminator-style footboard offers a familiar feel underfoot. The combination of a double-braced tripod, adjustable stand height and swivelling footboard makes the H-800X a practical choice for practice, rehearsals and live performance.

Designed to balance stability with portability, the H-800X features a wide Trident-design tripod base and an insulated two-tier main section. The swivelling legs and footboard allow the stand to be positioned around other hardware, making it particularly useful for drum kits incorporating a double bass drum pedal.

Double braced legs

The double-braced tripod provides reinforced support for the hi-hat cymbals during playing. Its dual lateral bracing on each leg helps keep the stand stable and despite this sturdy construction, the H-800X remains lightweight enough to transport between rehearsals, lessons and performances. The folding tripod design also makes packing away the stand more convenient when transporting drum hardware.

Trident design tripod

The H-800X features a wide Trident-design tripod base that provides increased balance and stability. The three-legged design offers a sturdy foundation for the stand, helping keep it securely positioned during energetic playing.

Swivelling footboard

The fully stabilised footboard swivels to accommodate different pedal configurations. This is particularly useful for drummers using a double bass drum pedal, as the hi-hat pedal can be repositioned to create additional space around the feet and other hardware.

Insulated height adjustment

The H-800X features an insulated two-tier main section with die-cast clamps for adjusting the stand's height. Nylon insulation helps provide secure positioning while reducing unwanted mechanical noise during adjustment and use.

With a height range of 24–35.8 inches, the stand can be positioned to suit different seating heights and playing preferences. The adjustable design makes it suitable for a range of drummers and kit configurations.

HCL-79 hi-hat clutch

The included HCL-79 clutch secures the top hi-hat cymbal to the pull rod while allowing the cymbals to respond naturally during playing. Its direct wing bolt helps maintain a secure grip, while the traditional felts allow the cymbal to sustain without unnecessary restriction.

The two-piece adjustable top nut provides control over how firmly the top cymbal is held, allowing drummers to adjust its movement and the amount of looseness between the cymbals. A locking bottom nut helps keep the clutch securely assembled during use.
