This three metre long wall frieze tells the story of western classical music from its birth in the dark ages to the present day.

Covering the years 1400-2000, each period is tagged with important historical events and the most influential composers of the time. To give further context, famous works of art and photographs are printed underneath showing how visual arts were affected by the same events.

The complete banner gives an excellent overview of musical development over the last 600 years making it ideal for classroom walls or hallway displays.

The information included is specifically written to cover the KS2 curriculum, but will be a useful reference for musicians of all ages. Each order is supplied with detailed teachers' notes.

Supplied in three sections - each section is approximately 23cm x 100cm.

This is a replacement of the same item I bought 13 years ago. I refer to it every day. As it stops at 2000, an additional section would be welcome soon, but otherwise it's excellent.

Thanks so much for your prompt service, I will definitely purchase from you again.
