The sheet packing is an essential part of your melodion, ensuring the reed plates are securely sealed to prevent air leakage and maintain optimal performance.
Over time, the sheet packing may peel off during reed plate replacement. For this reason, it is highly recommended to purchase this replacement packing when purchasing a reed plate set or any of the compatible melodion models to ensure your instrument remains in top condition.
