The bright yellow plastic is fun, durable and produces a great sound when used with your instrument. These beaters are supplied as a pair, and are great for both professional, classroom and personal use.
Each beater is moulded as a single piece, joining the head and handle into one continuous construction. This removes the separate head-to-handle joint found on some traditional beaters, helping the beaters withstand regular use in busy music classrooms. They are manufactured in the UK and are designed for long-lasting use.
The solid plastic construction gives these beaters a particularly hard head, producing a clear, defined attack when used on tuned percussion. Because the head and handle are formed from one piece of plastic, there is no separate head that can work loose from the shaft during use.
The 15mm round head is designed for use with instruments such as glockenspiels and chime bars. The hard plastic head can also be used with a range of other classroom percussion instruments where a firm beater is appropriate.
The bright yellow finish also makes the beaters easy to identify and distribute when working with multiple instruments or larger groups.
